Whether you're an experienced runner or just lacing up for the first time, our 12-week training plan written by the expert Run Vault Performance will guide you toward race day with confidence.

Each week, you'll build endurance, strength, and speed through a structured training plan designed to help you reach 25km by the end of the year. You'll experience those small but powerful wins as you build on your progress week by week.

The 12-Week Training Plan

Starting on October 7, 2024, this plan has been thoughtfully crafted to prepare runners of all levels for the 25km challenge on January 1, 2025. From strength sessions to VO2 max intervals and long runs, each week brings a new focus, helping you build the endurance and power you need to conquer this challenge.

And don’t worry - whether you’re juggling work, family, or just life in general, the plan offers flexibility with options to cross-train or rest as needed. The ultimate goal is to keep you healthy, motivated, and ready for race day.

How You Can Join the Challenge

There are two ways to take on the LSKD 25km Challenge:

      Register Your Run Club:

Whether you have 2 runners or 200, this is your chance to come together as a community. Register your run club here, giving your runners the opportunity to join in and share the experience.

      Register as an Individual:

Prefer to go solo? No problem. You can still join the challenge, set your own pace, and train on your terms. All you need to do is sign up here. We’ll keep you motivated with tips, guidance, and encouragement as you prepare for the big day.
