LSKD Value 2/6 Create A Community
“Our community is why we are here and who we work for.”

At LSKD it is our mission to inspire you to chase the vibe through sports, fitness and adventure.

As we pursue this mission we have found that it is often the work and attitude of inspiring individuals that band together to create a community which really inspires change.

The growth of our community in recent years has opened us up to new challenges faced by those that are close with us and has inspired us to reach out and give a helping hand where we can.

The organisations shown here are those that we are constantly supporting and working with.

National Breast Cancer Foundation

The National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) has been funding game-changing research into areas of prevention, detection, quality of life and a new and improved treatment since 1994. In 28 years NBCF has funded $190M into 575 world-class research projects.

Early detection gives the best possible chance of survival so it is vital that all women regardless of socio-economic situations are 'breast aware' - that is familiar with the normal look and feel of their breasts so they can seek medical advice should they identify any unusual changes (such as a new lump).

We've designed, developed and released a number of Breast Cancer collections all in support of the NBCF. With proceeds from every piece going towards the NBCF, it also provides a conversation piece for our community to continue raising awareness about breast cancer as they wear their items. These collections are something that we aim to work on every single year to keep supporting the NBCF.

Everyone at Cystic Fibrosis QLD is committed to improving clinical practice and patient outcomes, with the aim of extending life expectancy of those suffering from Cystic Fibrosis from 47 to 55 years by 2025. It is an imposing challenge. Every four days a baby is born in Australia with cystic fibrosis (CF) and more than one million Australians are carriers of CF genes. We also support state and territory CF bodies who provide valuable services to the CF community.

Cystic Fibrosis Qld is our go to charity when we bring our community together. This includes everything from weekend workouts for donations, to our Beats & Eats nights.

Wear It Purple

Every June, we have a rainbow takeover at LSKD… and it’s all about inclusivity.

Wear It Purple strive to foster supportive, safe, empowering and inclusive environments for rainbow young people. With four key focus ares of awareness, opportunity, environment and collaboration, they are leading the way when it comes to inclusivity.

Our yearly Pride collection in June is at the front of our work with Wear It Purple. Our 2021 collection helped us to donate $5k from our initial PRIDE drop and another $11k throughout the year as we re-stocked. These funds go towards services that raise awareness about sexuality, sex and gender identity to challenge harmful social cultures for young LGBTQIA+ people across Australia.

Fly your flag and let's make a difference.
