Wrap measuring tape around the fullest part of the chest, ensuring the measuring tape is sitting straight across the back when taking the measurements. Once the measuring tape is in position, keep the arms relaxed and by the side.
Waist:
Measure around the middle of your natural waistline, this should be approximately around where your belly button sits or just above.

Good, but needs improvements
"Bought a medium but it was very big so had to exchange for small. I'd say the sizes run pretty big because the small is even generous. I normally wear a sm / md top in most things. The shape is pretty boxy but it is very comfortable and warm. The neck has a nice shape and is made out of a nice soft material. The built in pockets are good, though they seem slightly too high for comfort and the toggles on the zippers would be better if they were normal zippers rather than rope toggles. Overall, a nice jacket and has good insulation."

a good staple to have
"really nice vest. prefect weight and thickness and super soft. love the soft fabric around the neck of the collar which is the same inside the pockets. so soft and cosy! also the little bag to pack it in is great! Used it for golf. it was perfect. Would just love a few more details like a zip for inside pocket instead of velcro, maybe some toggles down the bottom to tighten the shape and a massive bonus would be reversible. . those things would get that last star. . but its great for what it is."
