Inside the Red Bull Dance Your Style Event

The Red Bull Dance Your Style event returned for 2024, and it was bigger and better than ever. This unique street dance competition challenged dancers from around the globe to bring their best moves to the floor, captivating audiences and judges with their creativity, energy, and style. The excitement built as state finals took place across Australia, culminating in an epic showdown at the national final.

This year, LSKD was proud to partner with Red Bull for this incredible event. We joined forces to celebrate the dynamic world of street dance and to provide dancers with the high-quality sportswear to express their style. Our collaboration wasn't just about the apparel; it was about community, creativity, and a shared passion for pushing boundaries and being 1% better every day.

All The Gear & The Best Idea

At LSKD, we want to provide athletes and artists with the highest quality street and sportswear so they can perform at their best. For the Red Bull Dance Your Style event, we took this commitment to the next level. Each state finalist and crew member received a special edition LSKD x Red Bull hoodie, designed to keep them comfortable and stylish as they showcase their moves.

We didn't stop there. We invited the 16 national finalists to our Bondi store for an exclusive VIP shopping experience, ensuring they have the perfect fit for their unique styles. Our men's and women's collections, including womens hoodies & jumpers, womens track pants, mens street shorts, and mens hoodies & jumpers, provide a versatile range of options for every dancer.

In addition to this, we kitted out some of the opinion leaders, hosts, and MCs to ensure everyone involved looked their best. And as a special treat, we created 100 limited edition collab tees, which were available for purchase at the national final.

What is Red Bull Dance Your Style?

Red Bull Dance Your Style is more than just a competition—it's a celebration of street dance culture. Unlike traditional dance battles judged by a panel, this event puts the power in the hands of the audience. Spectators vote for their favorite dancers based on their performance, personality, and ability to win over the crowd.

The competition travels through multiple locations, with dancers competing in state finals before the best of the best face off in the national final. From our home state, this year's QLD state final saw @wanidabonida win to progress to the national final, where @therealedwinliberty took the win in the Red Bull Dance Your Style Australia National final for 2024.  

The event is not just about competition; it's about creating a vibrant community where dancers and fans come together to share their love for the art form. This sense of community aligns perfectly with LSKD value 2/6; Create A Community.
